Due to the COVID-19 situation, as of 3/13/20 Ballston Spa Rotary has decided to suspend its meetings for a minimum of 2 weeks pending further developments.
Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s food drive. Because of your generosity, we were able to give a total of 3 vehicle loads of food and $900 to food pantries in Ballston Spa!

Favorite Part of Rotary: I am captivated by the scope of Rotary which allows both local community support and need fulfillment as well as efforts towards the global humankind sustenance and prosperity.
Bio: Golenne enjoyed her first year in the Ballston Spa Rotary under a corporate membership before joining as an individual member. She and her husband commute from Johnstown for work. Golenne has always been involved in the many community events during her years at Curtis Lumber. When not at work or at the local dirt track working as crew members, their young daughter keeps her busy with school activities, dance and community theatre.

At the January 22, 2020 Ballston Spa Board of Education meeting, Mark Blech (Ballston Spa Rotary) accepted recognition certificates for the Ballston Spa Rotary and Malta Sunrise Rotary Clubs. Golene Kortz accepted a certificate on behalf of the Brookside Museum. The groups raised over $6,000 during the past few months to help feed students in the district. They are shown in the photo with Ballston Spa School Superintendent Ken Slentz (L) and Board of Education President Dottie Sellers (R).
