Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Cleanup Day this past Saturday!
We achieved so much together in cleaning and beautifying our parks!
The Rotary Club of Ballston Spa will be organizing a Community Cleanup Day on April 23 in the Village of Ballston Spa. We will be cleaning, painting, fixing, etc. We welcome any and all volunteers, the more people we have the more we can do. If you would like to join us, please contact Dan Barner at (518) 396-7517.
Pete took the plunge to raise funds for the fight against Polio. Our club raised over $400 in pledges to sponsor Pete.
At the Ballston Spa Holiday Parade, some of our Rotarians joined with our BSHS Interact students and advisors as well as members of the Ballston Spa Lions Club and Community Emergency Corps to collect Toys for Tots along the parade route. We were able to collect about 150 toys for the kids. A great community effort. Let’s do it again next year!
Our Christmas tree lot at Curtis Lumber on Rt. 67 in Ballston Spa is now open from 10am to 8pm daily (open early at 9am on Saturdays). We have a mixture of sheared Balsam Firs and Frasier Firs with more than 700 to choose from. Our trees are from 7-10 feet tall and sell for $45 and up. All profits are used to finance our projects for the next 12 months and go right back into the local community to help those in need.
