The Ballston Spa Rotary Club along with Rebuilding Together Saratoga County and a grant from Sears, build a gazebo for the mens Veteran’s home on Church Ave in Ballston Spa. Interior painting was also completed. We are proud to have an opportunity to give back to those who gave so much for us.

Jason works at Armer Funeral Home and continues the Armer tradition of serving as a Rotarian. Jason’s grandfather, Bob Armer served as a Ballston Spa Rotarian as well as his father, Harry Armer, who is a current active member of the club.

The Rotary Club of Ballston Spa donates to local school students raising funds for others in need. Founded 34 years ago, the South Glens Falls marathon dance and related activities have raised more than $2.75 million for more than 200 beneficiaries in the local area. A student committee reviews and makes decisions about requests for financial assistance. Thirty-five individuals have been selected for charitable donations from this year’s dance.
The South High Marathon Dance is on pace to break last year’s fundraising record of $326,213. It is students like this, acting out Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, that will make all communities a better place.
Rotary District Governor Elect Melissa Ward joined Wenesday’s meeting to speak about all that Rotary has to offer and how that one Rotary project can touch the lives of a member forever.
