Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Cleanup Day this past Saturday!
We achieved so much together in cleaning and beautifying our parks!
Pete took the plunge to raise funds for the fight against Polio. Our club raised over $400 in pledges to sponsor Pete.
We had another successful Food Pantry run to the Regional Food Bank in Latham. We brought back lots of canned goods, cereal, and fruits and vegetables to help supply the Food Pantry at Christ Episcopal Church. Thanks go out to Paul Perrault, Steve Esposito, and Tom White (from BSNB) for their help in transport and loading the products for the pantry. Thanks, too, to our friends from Saratoga Bridges Day Hab for helping us off load everything once we returned. This is just one of our regular projects that we need folks to take part in as members (or non-members!).
On Friday, May 15, members of the Ballston Spa Rotary Club and the Rotary District 7190 kicked off the District Conference by volunteering a work day to rebuild the area in the Schoharie Valley after the devastating flooding from Hurricanes Irene and Lee.

Special thanks was given at the Rotary District 7190 Conference to Doug Ford and Curtis Lumber Company for organizing the Schoharie project with SALT (Schoharie Area Long Term). In addition to assigning the Rotary members, Doug had gathered 13 professional contractors that volunteered their time and employees for the work day.
